Who We Are

Goanna Academy is Australia's first Indigenous-owned preventative mental health education provider, founded by proud Dunghutti and Kamilaroi man and NRL Hall of Fame inductee Greg Inglis.

Our mission is to improve mental health outcomes and help reduce the impact of suicide by empowering Australians with the tools, education and support needed to seek help early. Through culturally safe, evidence-informed programs delivered in schools, communities, workplaces and on Country, we are building stronger, more connected communities across Australia.

MENTAL HEALTH MONDAYS 🦎

Whose in your corner?

Having a good circle of people around you can make all the difference — family, friends, teammates, workmates or someone you trust.

People you can talk to, lean on and reach out to when things get tough.

Sometimes asking for help can be hard, but having someone in your corner is a good place to start.

MENTAL HEALTH MONDAYS

Your happy place doesn’t have to be somewhere you go.

It could be a walk with someone you love, time with family, getting outside, playing sport, listening to music — whatever helps you slow down and feel good.

What’s yours? 👇

Goanna Academy acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waters and sky across Australia on which we live, learn and work. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present and honour the strength, resilience and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We recognise that Country is more than a place—it is identity, belonging, connection and healing. We acknowledge the enduring relationship that First Nations peoples have with Country, culture, language and community, and the vital role these connections play in supporting social and emotional wellbeing.

Through everything we do, we honour the knowledge of our Ancestors, celebrate the strength of our communities and remain committed to empowering future generations to thrive with pride, purpose and connection.
